Sean knows her stuff for sure! I like that her flows move without too much speed, still with some good holds.
Sean has a soft, gentle voice - but is still strong and firm with her cueing.
Her sequencing is so unique - I love to incorporate her transitions into my personal practice.

Great flow with excellent verbal prompts.
Sean was amazing and super personable. I loved her playlist and how well she explained every step. As a beginner it was a little difficult to follow in the beginning but Sean was great at helping me pick it up very quickly. Excited to book another class with Sean!
Sean is such a fun teacher! She laughs and has a good time during the class and I always leave feeling lighter than when I started the class. Sean has amazing sequences! Her ability to set up poses so they all blend together is amazing! Highly recommend.
As a teacher myself, I really appreciate your clear instructions, precise use of imagery, positive energy, the beautiful demonstration of the various asanas, and the thoughtful way you structure the flow through time.
Truly a great experience, made me fully comfortable practicing in my own home without supervision, and loved the modifications and introduction into how and when to use yoga blocks.
I felt she was great with instructions and building the sequencing. She made the 1 hour class fly by :)
Sean is just the best! She always brings a warm and inclusive presence into her classes that is genuine and inviting. Her ability to guide a meaningful practice is second to none, and her playful approach to yoga has helped me get out of rigidly forcing myself through postures. Very approachable and a great class!
Sean is clear and concise while providing accurate names for each of the positions. There is warmth by offering modifications and gentle humour in the delivery which makes it accessible when when you've been away from your practice. I thoroughly enjoyed my practice.
Always amazing! Super accessible and supportive environment, with modifcations for every skill level. Great pacing and visualizations, too. Thank you, Sean!
Great class! I loved her instruction style, everything had modifications and were explained clearly. Sean's class pace was perfect and she was so friendly from the moment I arrived, to little jokes and comments she sneaks into her instruction that just add to the flow. Definitely will book again!
This class was well thought-out and she had such a lovely calm soothing voice, perfect for Yin.

Wow. It was a special class. Sean's guidance was so inclusive, positive, yet instructional without being too technical. And the soundtrack was perfect. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

my story
Over a decade ago, I got out of a relationship that was toxic and abusive, emerging both mentally and physically ruined. My self-worth was in shambles. You would think maybe I would have taken this as a sign to start on a healthier path, but no. What began was a bit of an invisible free-fall. I was able to stay enrolled in university, and never had less than two retail/serving jobs to pay my rent - but just barely. For a while I slept on a yoga mat (foreshadowing?!) in my apartment, watching DVDs borrowed from my friends on a borrowed TV. The money I did spend on food was spent only on junk food, which I would consume at a break-neck speed and then purge. Thus began what would end up being a struggle and secret of mine for over 10 years.
It stayed with me even as good things started happening to me; through meeting my now-partner, getting my first (and second) office jobs, the start of my yoga practice, and even my wedding. It stayed with me through holidays, birthdays, celebrations - all beautiful things I don’t could not and would not fully enjoy because I was wrought with anxiety about food - eating too much, eating too little, or raising alarm bells.
While my yoga practice started during this period of my life and did start to undo some of the damage done to my psyche, it did simultaneously make it worse in a lot of ways. Because I was praised for losing weight, and being thin and able-bodied. I was applauded for being “healthy” while I did 10+ hot classes a week and my hair and teeth were falling out.
Things did not actually even start turning around for me until I started my own YTT and started teaching. But maybe I’ll talk about that at another time. However, the biggest change I noticed is the one I still appreciate the most to this day: the feeling of myself taking up space in the world. I had spent so much time and effort in my earlier years to make myself tiny - invisible, even - like I did not inherently deserve to be there at all. While yoga may be a physical practice, for me it also has become a daily act of self-esteem and self-forgiveness.
So. Why do I preach self-acceptance, body positivity, and being trauma-informed in my classes? She is why. I’m trying to be the person she needed then. And I’m going to continue to try.
